Providence Care Ethics Conference:  Kindness, Humanity, Respect, Dignity and Compassion - March 26, 2009

The core values of medical professionalism—are too often being overlooked in the time pressured culture of modern health care. The A, B, C, and D of dignity conserving care can reinstate these values.

This one day learning session captured:

  • The appreciation for an empirical basis of Dignity Conserving Care.
  • How the ABCD's of Dignity Conserving Care encapsulate core values of medical professionalism.
  • Insight into how the Dignity framework can inform holistic and humane care.
  • How to use dignity therapy in your practice.
