Guest Speaker - Dr. Harvey Max Chochinov
Dr. Harvey Max Chochinov is a Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Manitoba and Director of the Manitoba Palliative Care Research Unit, CancerCare Manitoba.
Dr. Chochinov shared the practical skill of interviewing a terminally ill patient. This approach, titled "dignity therapy", is designed to address psychosocial and existential distress among terminally ill patients.
