The Motiv8 Series is a five-session workplace health promotion program that covers physical activity, nutrition and behaviour change. This program is open to employees, up to a maximum of 20 participants (minimum 10). The five sessions run for approximately 60 minutes once a week and are delivered by health professionals who include a physical activity specialist, a public health dietician, community food advisor, and public health nurse. Each employee will be lent a pedometer and will receive a logbook, education support materials and other Motiv8 incentives. In addition, a food demonstration and healthy snacks will be provided at one of the nutrition sessions.
