Providence Care has identified six areas of employee performance as “core competencies”. These competencies are part of each staff member’s regular performance and learning review with his or her manager. The core competencies ask the employee to be:

To assist staff and managers in completing performance and learning reviews, and developing individual learning plans, the 2009-2010 Learning Calendar identifies how each session aligns with these core competencies.
The Learning Calendar also demonstrates how each of the sessions supports one or more of Providence Care’s strategic directions, as laid out in our 2009-2012 Strategic Plan.
