Pharmacists - Providence Care is proud to support our internationally trained Pharmacists. We provide studentship and internship placements to fulfill the Ontario College of Pharmacist credentialing process for those Pharmacist professionals who have acquired their education and experience outside of Canada. Many placements have resulted in employment opportunities with Providence Care. Expand your professional experience to include work at our Mental Health Services site. As a fully accredited mental health care facility, our specialized programs and services include adult assessment, diagnosis and stabilization, psychosocial rehabilitation, mood and personality disorder services, forensic assessment and rehabilitation, geriatric assessment, continuing and chronic care, and rehabilitation.
Or, join our team of pharmacy professionals in the main pharmacy of our St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital site. At this location we provide complex continuing care, geriatric programs, rehabilitation services for clients with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations and respiratory problems and palliative care. Utilizing demonstrated assessment and communication skills, you will focus on drug distribution and clinical activities in this position. We are proud to be leaders in the industry at our St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital site in providing our pharmacists with the convenience, accuracy and safety of our electronic physician order entry system.

Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists - our physiotherapists and occupational therapists enhance their professional practice through work in a variety of clinical areas of specialization including medicine, surgery, complex care, mental health and injured worker clinics. Some positions offer opportunities for part-time work with benefits. Personal Support Workers - working exclusively at our Providence Manor site, our personal support workers are critical people in the lives of our residents offering assistance with activities of daily living and social needs.
Physio and Occupational Therapy Assistants - working under the supervision of a regulated therapist at our St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital site, our therapy assistants enable Providence Care to deliver high quality services to a large client population.
Environmental and Dietary Staff - Our Housekeeping/Linen and Food & Nutrition Services departments play a central role in ensuring the wellness of our patients, clients and residents. They do more than just clean and prepare meals. Our staff in these areas, are responsible to ensure proper safety and sanitation in the services they provide. Therefore, when vacancies arise in Housekeeping/Linen and Food & Nutrition Services departments, preference is given to candidates who have recent and related work experience in a similar institutional and/or health care work environment. The special infection control and safety precautions and dietary needs in the health care environments make prior related experience a real asset.
